There is a cam thread, and it seems some of the guys who are swapping out their cams are seeing less boost, a slight drop in egt's, and the same or worse mpg's.

It's definitely making me think twice about doing mine.

I have been reading that... Those two guys are the only ones I have seen with those results... and also the only ones I have seen with the Hamilton Cam, which I had not heard of before... The Helix 2 gets great reviews and is what I plan to put in.

The Hamilton cam and springs are big over on Comp D.

Zach and Don have had a little thing going on, and it's why their prices have been dropping.

I know Zach is pretty vocal about how his springs compare to Don's, but I'm not sure about the difference in cams.

Anyoneknow how exactly the EGR works in an 06
duration, overlap extra lobe???
The cam specs dont show anything out of the norm
Just wondering

It closes the exhaust valve prior to TDC to keep more exhaust gases in the cylinder.
