Installed MP-8, questions on functions?

I installed the mp-8 today. Am I correct in assuming that the knob all of the way to the left is the lowest setting and the more you turn it to the right (clockwise) the more RP your surposed to see? Here is my observation. I keep it all the way to the left (counter clockwise) I see a max of 23.5k of RP (same as with out the mp-8). I turn it to the right (clockwise) I see a drop, the further I go the more it drops. All the way to the right and max is 14k of RP? WHAT IS GOING ON? Is the mp-8 working correctly and my cp-3 can't keep up or is the mp-8 not working properly? I need help!

Sounds to me like you are exceeding the limits of your stock CP3. Put an Arson2 kit on there and you should be good to go!!!

Is it possible to have it plugged in wrong. My quad RP gauge plugs into the map sensor too correct. Is what order will it have to be, the mp-8 first then the gauge then the factory harness or the other way. Freaking confussing, and it shouldn't be.

I would think sensor->gauge->MP8->Factory harness - otherwise the gauge will show the modified signal from the MP8.

I agree... If your RP tap-in is downstream of the MP-8, you will read the "Fooled Pressure". My guess is it's working fine, when you drive with say 40% TPS and dial it up do you feel a difference? I use a PMT and since it retrieves the signal from the OBD, it reads the fooled pressure and reads lower too, but I can DEFINITELY feel a difference when it's turned up.

I think I have it like this, sensor, mp8 , RP gauge, factory harness. Looks like I need to change to, sensor, RP gauge, mp8 the factory. I will try that.

Ok, plugged it in like this, sensor, gauge mp8 and factory. Went for a quick ride and turned the dial up and pressure was up to 26k. Think its working. Just need to drive longer on the road where I can get some WOT time and see how high the RP will go and will it maintain it. Need to find that happy spot. Thanks alot guys. Nice to be able to count on some good feedback. Hope it gets me 675hp on the dyno in two weeks.
