Awenthol I said the same thing and you're right. There is no probably to it, it's GONNA happen. You're rail pressure will be to high for your injectors and that will throw codes as well. Another thing, you need to have the right cooling mods other wise you will smoke your turbo and risk blowing up your engine.

you also need to upgrade that stock turbo possibly. You're already dumping fuel into it and the more you dump into the stock turbo the more you're gonna waste. That turbo will only handle so much and can only deliver so much air. You already have injectors and a chip already you put another on there, you will be wasting a lot of power. More air is a must if you're gonna stack chips too. You running a boost fooler too?

Do the fuel mods, and air mods and you will be fine.

Thanks, John

I boost fooler is a cheap and easy upgrade. It's only like 60 bucks and it will give you about 10 extra psi of boost. What it does is trick your ECM into thinking it's running at a certain SAFE level of boost (according to the ECM) when in all actuality you're running a higher level. Once you hit over a certain level of boost your Computer will kick into a defueling mode and this you lose a TON of power and a code is thrown. A boost fooler will give more boost depending on fueling mods, and prevent any codes from being thrown. What turbo do you have? I know mine came with a boost fooler so if thats the case you may actually already have one. How many psi you running?

I would go with the smarty regardless. It's a great a versatile product. But still at least get a lift pump so it will provide more fuel to the CP3 thus not over push you whole system, you already have injectors too granted they are only 50hp but with the chip you will be putting more strain on the pump which will put more strain on you cp3 and injectors. You push you stock lift pump to the max and it will effect your WHOLE fuel system. If you want the smarty let me know ok bro, I know a guy out in california who can beat the competition by about 40 bucks or so on pricing. And he will hook you up with anything and everything else you wanna do ok. I am so serious, just PM ME you will be very happy with his service.

I also forgot to say that the boost fooler will lower EGT's around 50 degrees on stock trucks and as much as 200 degrees on heavily modified trucks. so yeah, it's a good upgrade.

What do you have for gauges? Stock '03 lift pump + stock cp3 + injectors = not enough fuel for Smarty....however, the only way to truely know is with fuel pressure and rail pressure gauges.

Along with a boost fooler you are going to also need a better wastegate actuator for it to work properly since your trucks wastegate is mechanically controlled. The quadzilla is the best boost fooler.
