In need of help......

I am trying to remove the exaust manifold but I am having trouble with the heater hose mount. I cannot seem to get the mount off of the stud to get to the main nut that holds the manifold on. This is on the number six cylinder bottom stud.....Any suggestions.

Try to remove it without taking the heater hose off. Keep working it.

it is a pain, you have to take the hose apart under the middle of the manifold to free it up some

Do you mean the rubber connector or the other mount that bolts to the block closer to the #1 cyl.

we just cut the bracket on my friends 05. Can't remember if we did mine also or not. Made getting the manifold off a lil easier.

The rubber connector.

The bracket will come off from the stud, but it takes a pry bar to do it.
