I would say turbo also. The injectors might cost less but they will cost more to put on for sure. If you plan on doing twins or a larger tubo in the near future then I would do the injectors first otherwise you have plenty of injector for a decent turbo upgrade. How many miles do you have on the stocker?

Yep probably would be a good time for a turbo.

Well, if you keep stock injectors, NEVER bump up the rail pressure with your Smarty or any other stack of any kind, because everyone I have talked to say the stock tips are prone to cracking with added rail pressure. IMHO, get aftermarket nozzles or complete injectors and go from there. If you are not going for big power, the other posters suggestion of the DDP50's is a great idea IMHO.

I had lift pump issues and power puck problems and destroyed my injectors. I did industrial injection 90s. That finished off my tranny.. now I need a turbo. still get 22mpg as long as i'm cruisin highway. So once I replace my turbo I could use some bigger injectors. So for what was said above get a hp # in mind and upgrade the trans and turbo first else you will be chasing probs like I did.

stock turbo/injectors i made over 400 on fuel only. i put on 90's and it was to much for the turbo to handle, but i drove it a couple days waiting for the turbo to show up. if you want more but dont want to upgrade turbos, then h2o/meth is your best answer. that'll get you to 450-475 hp, but drive presure will be thru the roof. oh, and stock clutch wont hold #9 for long. trust me.

DDP 50's are wonderful. I had great mileage and performance with them. I hit 560rwhp with them. They drove great, idled good and no smoke. I just went with the DDP 90's and love them too. Some smoke but great all around. Stay 50's for what you are doing.
