Has anyone installed electric fans on the cummins. I have an 05 and I do tow some with my truck wanted to know if it is worth going to the dual electric fans instead of the stock fan

You may not get enough cooling with the electrical fans when towing. The stock fan clutch is cheaper to replace. If you need the fan itself then the electrical may be cheaper.
Some think that it will give better milage with the electrical fans, but the load is only changed from the engine power to the alternator.

I have them, Im slowly fine tuning the adjustment on them.. So far I feel the stock clutch fan cooled much better. Im pretty sure i dont have them turning on at the right temp though.

havent noticed much difference either way; empty or loaded. if you only tow occasionally theyre no big deal. electric fans are a no-no if you haul allday everyday (i.e. construction or hotshot etc); and i wouldnt really recommend frequent cross country trips. but towing a boat or a couple of weekend toys is no problem.
I like the fact that they keep running after the truck is turned off until the engine temp goes down. Plus they sound pretty cool!

I have the flex a lites and never have problems with my temps, i dont tow alot maybe 7k max but its not a problem. Would def do it again over the stock fan just for the space it makes in front of the motor
