what kinda gain in mpg with bully dog gt

So I have installed my gt on my truck and I haven't really played with it to much but I have noticed that the trucks mpg reader say 22u mpg and the programmer is reading 10a to15 and says I used 4 gallons to delivery 50 miles and I no that, that can't be right so which do I used to see results. And I haven't went through and set up all of the settings and mode because I ran outta time and daylight. If anyone can help I would be greatfull
