Check out this cold air intake made from factory intake that costs were minimal and quote from Gale Banks about intakes. (I am not pushing Banks products)
Of course, a vehicle?s airbox is where the outside air comes into the engine. Due to cost
restraints, factory airboxes usually allow for a well-engineered aftermarket airbox to do
a much more efficient job at directing the air into the engine. The best-engineered
airboxes are sealed units that take the air in from the front of the vehicle and create
the least-restrictive path to the turbocharger.
Aftermarket filters-on-a-stick don?t work very well, even if the air filter element has
an enclosure around it. They still tend to take in the hot underhood air, which is far
less dense than outside ambient air. Remember, just because an aftermarket airbox system
or filter-on-a-stick makes more noise, doesn?t mean its making power or increasing air
density. Make sure you get a dynamometer-tested airbox that actually makes power and
increases air density instead of just making more noise.

You actually were not real clear on what you did want. We thought you were talking about "intake" on clean air side of turbo. You must be talking about intake part on engine side of intercooler.
Right?

Icebox is made in Colorado. By hand one at a time and you can pick between 2 color options as standard or custom colors as well. Uses the nanofiber dry flow air filter and we guarantee 100% money back or replacement no questions asked. Oh, and it does what it is supposed to also. Work great and fit great. lower EGT's, better fuel economy (depending on right foot weight) faster turbo spool up and you cant beat the sound you will hear. They also look great.
i thnk i will stick with the cold air intake i made myself. it looks good, it was a heck of a lot cheaper, and the most important it will flow just as good if not better than the rest of the overpriced cai systems i've seen

basically stock if i would have built it at the factory
I would like to know what people are choosing for the "other" filter option being there are so many "other" marked on the poll....I would add to the poll a couple of more options....Airaid, volant, S & B, PSM...Just a few i would throw out there that should be on the list to cut down on the number of "other" so we have a better idea....
Are you sure I sent that too you, if so do you have a part number or invoice number? The part number I show is 1800090, it is 6 feet??
Dave i seen 99cummins08 aint been back to the thread. But the pyro is only about 4 feet not long at all. I was concered with it and was going to put my dmax one on his and try to rig that one to work. But its so sterched out his gauge wont work.
