UPS hopefully will get my filter to me by Thursday. I just ordered the outerwares prefilter in red to match the letters on the valve cover. Can't wait till thurs when they get here. I bet the big after market air system companies don't want people to figure out a better and cheaper way. Thanks to whoever came up with this and did all the homework!

Got the parts and installed it a couple of days ago. Seems to have a bit better throttle response. EGT's seem to run about the same as before. Mileage seems to have improved about 1 mpg so far (have only run about 150 mi) This thing is monster sized!! I'll try to post some pics today.
Napa #2790 filter with Outerwears #20-1085 prefilter. Used a 4" abs long elbow and a 4" section of 4" pipe to complete the assembly. If the setup is problem free, I'll disassemble it and paint it to match.

Cheers

Put it all on friday, seems to breath a little easier, looks great. Attached the filter minder to the end of the filter. Put the charger on the heat shield. I run my camper off my battery alot when out on the beach and don't want to lug the generator around. Have'nt had a dead bat yet the trickle charge is good to keep them topped off. Knew a lot off guys in MT and ND used them in conjunction with the block heater to keep the batts warm on cold nights.

I think I was a little premature on the mileage issue. I'm getting so much variation tank to tank right now between the new 5" exhaust and the BHAF, i'm not sure what's giving me the slight mileage improvement, the jury's still out
Cheers
