i had the same concerns as you did. My truck was built on 5/22/06. I called tst up today and talked with them for a couple minutes. They said the tst would not install on the truck correctly and I would have noticed it immediately(EGT's). The only incidents that he nos of with burnt pistons is when people are stacking the tst with smarty or something else. hope this helps ya out

Im running a Predator stacker on a 6/06 built truck. This worries me because I dont have a EGT gauge yet.

I talked to them at the 4 wheel jamboree. they said they were focused on the 6.7 like what triton described. it has alot to do with the injector will sweat and cause big issues is what one of the mechanics told me. they are good ppl and have been nice to me but for now mine is off and for sale. my truck is built in 06/2006. egts would not get crazy until high settings. triton also melted his engine down by running a tst and smarty with a stock turbo. tons of fuel with a stock turbo will melt pistons at high temps. when you dont have enough air thats the end result. triton im not ragging on you but I dont blame tst for what happened on your truck. I understand you arent cutting on them either, but guys that dont know you cant run a tst on high settings with a stock charger. the tst is no joke. its a hardcore fueling box and it is on some of the most powerful trucks around here.

So basically I should give up the idea of running TST on my truck? Hope now focuses on Van Aaken then...

Would like to know as well....

I sold my new TST, and got a Juice. What a waste of time.

The juice doesn't play well with the smarty at all.

Looks like I got myself a $900 cool down timer...

Can't wait for the TST to come out....
