Anyone running the Aurora 5000?

My 4000 kit has maybe 80 miles on it now and i absolutely love it without a doubt.Spool time is awesome, nice boost levels etc but i think im gonna go alil furthur than planned..Im actually considering going ahead and buying a 5000 kit..I was originally gonna get the 5000 but the salesman talked me outta it the first time..Just kinda curious what the crowd who actually runs them says..The ATS guy is tellin me that spool up vs the 4000 is pretty close to the same but as a downfall mid pedal driving it has a little surge.. Heres the numbers hes tellin me as far as size differences..
-ATS 4000 :63-76-14
-ATS 5000 :71-76-15

Throw me some opinions fellas as far as thoughts on spool up differences etc..

It's going to spool noticeably slower. And I'm pretty sure the 4k has a bigger compressor than that.

I would honestly keep the A-4k and just get the Aurora Plus kit, you will really like the spool up and notice a drop in EGT's. I really like the 5k as a single for the CR, only issues are it is slow to spool and you really need to stay on top of it to tow anything, not a great towing turbo

Have had both the Aurora plus stock over 4000 and now stock over 5000. The 4000 was great for spooling, but ran out of power in a hurry on the top end. The stock over 5000 is night and day different in how it pulls through the mid to high end. No significant difference in spool-up on the low end. Can still get some surging issues at very light throttle. If you're going to commit to twins or even think you might someday, I'd suggest going to the 5000 and getting away from the 4000. If you're going to stick with a single, the 4000 may be a better plan for a DD

I have been running the Aurora 5k, by its self, for over a year now and I love it. I dont town with this truck and it has more daily driver duties than anything. I have a little more fuel to push it though and have worked on the air side of things as well. Like Giddyup and Docta mentioned, the Aurora Plus kit may not be a bad idea for you, as the spool up time is awesome and its easier to keep your EGT's in check.

i know this thread is dead but im running a 5000 as a single and it spools the same as my phatshaft 64 did....I do have a manual though. 3 buddies of mine did it with an auto and they all didn't care for it as a single but on the manual it does good on a 3rd gen. towing might get tricky but empty you would never know whats hiding under the hood....hehe

he probably didn't put head studs in pretty sure that's in the description only used for applications with heads studs as are most aftermarket turbos due to the increased boost (45< psi vs >30 psi stock)
