hey just bought a 2003 diesel (250 hp)about a month ago i put a 4 inch stright pipe on it love the sound just wondering what else is a cheap mod for these trucks for the better.
im going to make a home made air intake is there anyother cheap mods for these things i dont really wana buy a chip yet untill i buy a shift kit so let me know what you think.
03,9in lift, 5 inch pipe, bully dog power pup, transgo shift kit, 37 stt's on 17" black ultras, road armor bumpers front and rear 12000 lbs winch, ridgid light bar ,piaa lights
your going to have people that are for and against the K&N. i have been running those filters on my trucks for years and have never had any problems. however there are some people that have not had that great of luck from them. guess i've just been lucky. breaking the baffles out is a pain but will make the air flow a little better into the turbo. good luck and have fun with it
06 quadcab dually 6speed w/ skirted flatbed. Full autometer guages, Cummins Tuner-Jack, Bills custom 5" intake, 5" straight pipe w/ 7" tip, full replacement bumpers, CST 6.5" lift w/ 35's and all led lights
Before I had my S&B intake i removed the baffes and it sounded good then l took that section out completly and replaced it with a section of 5"exhaust it looked good and the turbo whistled like crazy and my egt's dropped about 75degrees I also took the silencer ring out of my turbo it sounded great good luck man have fun
2003 six speed with more than I need but less than I want.
