Marine cover. Hoesli diesel carries them. Best looking available IMO. I like my stuff black and polished so here's how I have it. If you look through my photo bucket you'll see other pics of it.
D&J precision makes a nice piece with a nice breather. It has txt on it with LED backlight.
Hamilton's is purdy but spendy
RDP? has a newer rounded style but that might be only for 6.7's.
Geno's makes a aluminum vanity cover to replace the stock plastic vanity cover.
There are some others as well but can't remember them all.
I take it as they are giving you 8 characters included in the price to machine in whatever you want. Knowing what I know about D&J I highly doubt it's any kind of a gimmick I'm sure they're using top shelf material and a ton of r&d
LOL no catch can yet. Yes after a hard pull she would leave a nice wet dream if I parked right away. Now doing a D&J Block breather and alot looser turbos so hoping to not need a catch can. Time will tell.
I'm all about simple. I don't need a ridiculously expensive LED cover so you're ploy to get my marine cover won't work. Good effort though. :thumbsup Maybe next year you'll have a better shot when I'm not way in the hole from building a motor.
Truly I like flat covers. Any cover that has a step up for the front 4 cylinders is a no go for me aesthetically. It is a 6 cylinder after all...
Bumping this thread up. Just ordered the G&R Diesel billet valve cover. Comes with billet cap, all stainless hardware, Baffled CCV, AN fittings with braided hoses, and all new O-rings. $550.
Good deal! I ended up getting the Hoesli valve cover. Haven't had time to install it yet. Been trying to think of a good place to mount the catch can. Anybody have ideas?
Cummins marine valve cover. You can see the catch can I installed in the upper left. I used the AC condenser bottle bolt and about 18" of AN stainless line.
I had mine wrapped with a carbon fiber material and it came out pretty good. I had the factory data sticker preserved. It has been on there about 2 years now and has held up perfectly.
I was finally able to track down my breather bottle. It's from Allstar Performance. I bought mine through Amazon. They have several configurations that allow for different mounting options and sizes. I don't see why you couldn't just directly mount it to the frame or firewall in any place of your choosing.

My valve cover from G&R Diesel just showed up. Great looking piece ! No machining flaws. Nice finish. Well packaged. And for being less expensive than others I've seen, I'd have to say the quality is outstanding.
