Get rid of the resanator and muffler. Then you won't be able to hear yourself think if the right window is down!

delete the stock muffler and you will definitely have more noise. a straight section of pipe will work in place of the muffler but it wont fit as well as a delete pipe that is bent for the offset. get rid of the factory torque tube and airbox if you like to hear the turbo

A muffler delete sounds good, a muffler and cat delete is loud, especially when you really get on it.

A muffler delete will make it louder but if you want some real sound remove the cat as well and then it will ROAR

i'm also interested in this and am not trying to steal the thread just lookin for some input. i have the 5 " expandit system and have the muffler on in the way it is supposed to do. i've heard people say that turning the muffler backwards makes it louder. i want a deeper tone and a little less raspy sound. should i turn the muffler around or just replace the muffler with a piece of 5 inch pipe
