So I set it to level 7 and I have a good bit more bottem end power now but I'm concerned about concerned my trans.

I would never push it on this setting because I know it would eat my trans alive.

So my question is if I leave it on level 7 and just go easy on her will it dammage anything else??
my egt numbers are still ok and my trans temp numbers are good too.

I'm just worried from all the talk about people smoking there transmissions.

37" tires, SW7, stock tranny.... it will be toast before you realize it.

Sorry, I know it's probably not what you want to hear, but you will not like the price difference between some insurance now(valve body/torque conv) vs a whole new trans.

On SW7 , even driving easy, there is so much torque.

yeah I figuerd that I just wanted a little more in the bottem end ( its kinda a dog down low)
I forgot to mention I'm running the revo tune.

I really dont get much smoke on level 7, I thinkI got more on level 3 and even that wasnt much.

Crank that biotch up and fry the f***er!!

You know you want a built one...

One question comes to mind; is yours an HO with the 48re or an SO with the 47re? Just curious.

In stock form, Id probably say the 48 would last slightly longer, although Im not sure what or if there are converter and valvebody differences, but the internals are stronger in the 48. And thats what goes bad in them 99% of the time; the converter starts slipping and its like Pringles, once it slips it wont stop until its dead

Just billet the trans and then not worry about it. Otherwise, it is just ticking...tick...tick....tick...true story.
