what to stack with my edge
i have an edge with monitor and the hot unlock.. it is pegging over 1600 on the egt.. still wanting more power. or should i just buy a smarty

yea im going to have to agree and say thats pretty dang hot so you might want to grab a bigger turbo to help cool things down a bit maybe an intercooler and/or an aftermarket exhaust manifold too

well since your pegging at 1600 already, a pressure box is out of the question..the smarty will lower your temps, and you could add the mp-8 to it for even more power...

planning on staying with my factory turbo until it blows.. going to be adding a rail cap and in the near future a fass 95.. my boost gauge is reading 43psi and i havent even touched the turbo.. do you think getting rid of the kitty cat would help too

well ,if it did do anything it will be very little..and anything after 37psi with a stock turbo, is hot air, inefficient.a turbo does wonder's..and not that exspensive when it comes to mods.

That is very true also they are good for a 1/4 mile run but not being a load for minites trust me i know i have blown up mine twice this year

what happened exactly..how much were you towing..what were your egt's and for how long...also what mods did you have at the time...thank god i dont tow, the track is basically the hardest im on the truck.

Well i do tow heavy but the track is realy hard on mine also mine got up pretty hot when i was hauling my 40 flatbed with 20 heavy soaked roundbales

Stack the edge with a smarty. I run TNT level 4 with my Juice. Run the juice on 2 and when I play, put it up to 5 or 6.
