Here is Joe's truck(On The Rock). He melted his motor by getting some 03-04 nozzels for a 04.5+ truck and I convinced him to send it off to Brown's Diesel to get everything done. I also told him that I would take some pictures for him and watch over his beauty. The truck hasn't even been at Brown's Diesel a week and it already has about new everything in the motor. They sent the motor off the be decked and bored out and had it back in when I got back 3 days later. THAT IS WHAT I CALL FAST!!! They have been taking care of Joe's truck like it is their own and are getting the job done very fast. Look at the dates of the pictures, now that is called moving. . I like to see what the truck does once it gets done. Should be make a good mid 600 at least.![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Haha, tell me about it. I really feel sorry for Joe. I was trying to help him through the whole process, but couldn't do anything since he bought the DDP nozzels used and the guys stated they were for 04.5+ trucks, but guess Joe found out they weren't for the 04.5+ motor. He let the truck idle for 20minutes and never had a problem. Went to get something to eat and still no problem. 1 mile away from home, got on it and then the damage happened. Joe knows what happened to the motor or Erick Brown knows what happened. I just know that they are taking care of him and are getting things up and running in a time frame for him. I know he will love the new truck. I think some things are better left bought new instead of used. But if you have to buy used, look at how many holes the nozzel has.

I compared all the numbers on the nozzels and the main number ended in the same 4 numbers but I believe the first couple were different... wich I read the last 4 numbers being the same indicated 06+ anyhow.. I have about 500 miles on em now.. gained 115hp out of em and havnt seen any problems.. probably would assume I would have seen them by now ![]() browns diesel is the way to go! ive been impressed with everything Ive seen and this is just yet more proof

If it were me I'd be installing a fluidampr harmonic balancer on it along with a new intercooler while they have the front bumper and everything off. His has the plastic ends and we all know how they tend to CRACK. That sucks that that had to happen to such a nice truck. The 03-04 nozzles have way more holes on the tips compared to the 04.5-07. Ive got some 120hp nozzles that were honed out and they are correct, I havent installed them yet...waitn til after deer season.

The nozzle is different from the 03-04 motors to the 04.5+ . Spray angle is totally different.
