So is the stock/s400 combo not good then? I heard that the stock/s400 combo reduced egt's by a lot while being good for mid 600hp.

you can do that with a stocker, your just limited.i personally wouldnt use a stocker in any twin set up...but if money is tight, by all means go for it, its better then running a single stocker...

Why is it limited, you mean stock turbo is too much of a restriction in power? What size turbos are on the bd 700s?

Don't mean to hijack but will the stocker over S400 make more hp than the R700's? And what needs to be done to the truck to achieve 650 hp using the stocker S400?

why would you think it would...stock turbo is limited..the r700's are matched perfect, meant to go together..i put down just under 600, and was running 12.6's with just the super b single at the time..

What twin set-up would you suggest? Shane told me that the stocker over S400 was good for 650 hp. This is the hp range I'm looking for so I thought it would be a nice set.

Yeah I will keep the 90's. I tow heavy about 2 months of the year. I just want a nice daily driver with lower EGT'S. With my set up now I hit 1550 degrees in the quarter. Also when towing my 20ft gooseneck empty I can only haul in OD OFF or EGTS are at a constant 1100-1300 degress.
