AEM Brute Force intake?????

I have an Airaid that came on my truck. I am thinking about getting something else. I really want to use a dry filter. I went to their site and I have noticed that there is 2 different p/n's for their systems. Yes, I know there is a polished one too, but this is for the gunmetal tube system and there is 2 different p/n's. Does anyone know what the difference is?

Here are the 2 different #'s
1) 21-8206DC
2) 21-9211DC
Both describe as Brute Force Systems. I may have to call them Monday. I'll be selling my Airaid as soon as I decide on which one I like.

could be the filter size or shape. AEM made up another intake called the workhorse. basically the same set-up but instead of a round base cone shape it had a oval base and cone shape. Basically the same filtration just a different shape

I see. I wonder how hard it is to get replacement filters? Do you have to order them from AEM?

There is actually 4 different p/n's then. The 2 I described above are gunmetal. I was wondering if there maybe a difference in the box that goes around the filter?

yk- how long does your filter last before changing?

Actually you are right. I looked closely at the filter in the pics and there is 2 different style filters. 1 is a round cylinder style and the other is a cone shaped filter. I wonder if there is any difference in performance?

I have the workhorse and love it, have about 30,000 miles on it and have only cleaned the filter with an air hose a few times.
