[quote=ramtd02;193288]you say the workharse performs better than the brute force?? I noticed your filterminder had been pulled down.....shouldnt happen with a new filter!! My bruteforce pulls down the filterminder anytime i do a WOT run, and I am extremely dissapointed with the products!!

I have the same problem and i made a call to AEM. One of the techs told me that the filterminder may need to be spaced out a little bit. As it sits on the Brute Force, it is in the direct path of the airflow which causes a vac on the minder. I never did anything with mine, just left it as it is. But if it worries you, ya may want to rig up something to get it to set out from the intake tube a little. Hope that helps. For the record i love mine, but had i known the Workhorse was coming out i would of waited. Kinda sucks that i bought mine and then the announcement was made that AEM was coming out with the Workhorse. Oh well so much for patients.

Well, I installed the biggest nano I could possibly squeeze into the corner of the engine bay just to experiment, and still pulled the minder down soon after I installed it. That tells me it's definately not filter restriction. The filters flow more than enough air, and the tube is more than sufficient in size, but the filter minder is in the wrong spot.

Guys, those of you looking for pricing on the unit need to direct your attention to any of the guys at Truckaddons or any other vendors, I am no longer working there but I can help point you in the right direction of who to talk to.

Just installed mine and removed the black rubber air deflector off of the pass. front of the intercooler,...did a quick run up the hiway and noticed the EGT's were lower...

The only question I have is how does this set up work in the rain with the deflector removed? If I look straight in throught the grill I can see the filter and imagine the rain will also hit it... Anyone running this for a while have any problems with that?
