I am fairly certain I just found a way to load the pedophile program onto a triple dog down loader that had been locked. If there is anyone interested I will post as detailed instructions as I can here...just let me know. I am not going to go through the trouble if no one is interested!

Trust me I have been through a lot to get this figured out and I would love to help some of you guys out.

EDIT: I will be testing in about 15 min...on my way home. I can outline procedure tonight perhaps.

OK I typed this all out and then my laptop gliched and F$%#@ it was all gone!!!

Here goes again

Below are the steps outlined that I used to get from 2.4.1 (locked PID) to the "earlier" files (ie...scarry lary, pedi, crazy...etc...) I performed all the testing at my own risk and do not assume any liability if something I did doesn't work for you or either lock your equipment up...sorry....

1.) create a folder on your dedsktop and name it BD TD Files (or something you will recognize as you foldder containing your tunes)

2.) create a folder for each tune you have and name it appropriately, like Pedophile, or Scarry...you get the point.

3.) Extract the files as you downloaded from KMK diesel and place all the components of each "tune" into the appropriate folder

4.) The key to my trick is this, you copy the FullMemoryUploader from the newer file that you have into the folder of the older tunes replacing the older version. DO NOT OVERWRITE the CONT.BIN or the OUTPUT.BIN files. These files contain the tune in machine code.

I will be willing to try and help anyone, you can email me @ black_smoke@comcast.net and I will send you the 2.4.1 file that I got my FullMemoryUploader from. I am going to be trying the other tunes to fully test this theory but it did work on mine going from the 2.4.1 to the Pedophile, which I was previously locked, and was told by BD I would have to sell and by an older version.

If anyone doesn't have a computer or is unsure of the procedure, email me and I will do what I can to help you out. If someone wants I can meet up and load files at Lead Foot Diesel Performance or Liberty or Washington GA Pulls....just let me know.

I have confirmation from a tech at BD that it works. They were unaware "supposedly" of this procedure, but he tested it and found it to work properly.

"I just tried it on one of our triple dogs here at the shop, and yup..it
worked..."

Give it a shot and let me know if any issues arise.

Ok guys I have a Bd and I have no clue on how to put CL tune on the BD. I downloaded all three of the tunes from KMK. I just no sure how to put them on the BD. It say I have 2.3.1. Can I put these files on the BD with that version?

OK, if you have never updated your triple dog past version 2.4.0 (I think 2.4d is considered a pre_EPA ban file) then you will not be able to load the crazy lary files. With that said you say you have 2.3.1 so you should be OK. Just follow these simple steps and you should be fine and not require the work around described above...

1.) plug the usb cable into your TD and your PC (you should see some notification of your pc recognizing new usb device/new usb to serial converter, and then it should say your device is installed and ready for use.)

2.) Re-start your PC

3.) Once your completely rebooted, shut off your firewall (VISTA is particularly bad about the firewall and "self-preservation protocols" causing issues)

4.) now connect your device back to your computer and open the folder containing the bully dog tune you wish to run and dbl click to pen the FullMemoryUploader.exe file

5.) Click UPGRADE (your pc should find which port your device is connected to (probly in the 10-13 range) and begin the download. Your downloader will display status as will there be a green status bar on the application on your PC screen.

That should be all you need to get going. just sit back and wait while you get updated.

So does anyone have the 2.3.1 crazy larry file??? I need that one back, I have the CT file if anyone wants that one as well...

Thank bud...ya'll have helped me out alot as I learn about my truck...made my first sled pull Sat night...It was light heroin it is so addicting!!! I only pulled 225 feet, but I just realized I was in 4-HI

Oh well, I am ready to try again and see if I can get a few more feet out of it when I put it in 4-LO. I don't feel so bad getting schooled by those strokers now. They only pulled 280's in 4-LO. Lets see what they will do in 4-HI!!!!
