Wouldn't it be reasonable to expect higher EGT's since you were running 90 hp injectors? It only seems logical.

To the OP.. I don't think you'll see much of a EGT drop with a horn. The point of the horn is to increase airflow, which is most noticed at low boost levels.

Everyone seems to be OK with the Almighty Smarty and the JR running cooler than stock so why not Edge? Ido not defend the Edge JA at all costs but I will when it is appropriate.
Not to fuel the fire... but...The EJA is notorious for 2 things, one running HOT HOT HOT and two for having lousy EGT readings on the digital display.

The Smarty is the one known for EGT reductions, the EJA is known for EGT increases.

What documentation is there to show that the EJA runs hot and that the digital display is wrong? I have seen nothing except posts from people who say that they hear the Juice runs hot. There are 3 guys in the first 2 pages of this thread who say their runs cool, including me, and when I put a BullyDog program in, it gets plenty hot so I know my gauge reads properly.

By the way I will say that I think Mulisha and AH64ID are knowledgeable guys but I am looking for proof, not just something people say on CF, cause we all know there is plenty of misinformation on the web.

The data I have is just from reading and talking with folks, both here and other forums. The general consensus is that the EJA is a hot running box. If the data I have read is wrong then I am sorry for putting out wrong information, as you know I try to put out stuff I know. I have also read, here and elsewhere, about more EJA errors in EGT that I have with any other gauge. (and maybe that's why its reported as running hot). I have never run, nor ever plan to, a EJA or a BDTD (I have heard they run hot too).. The whole reason I have a SJR is because stock was too hot for me. This thread has the highest number of cool running EJA folks I have seen to date.

Lets not forget the Edge JwA is only 100 hp. Get the hot unlock with up to 180 horsepower over stock (advertised) and I'm sure it can get very hot on a stock turbo. I don't think a Smarty on 9 pushing 174 hp or whatever it is runs cool either.

Where do you have the pyro probe? pre or post turbo? That could be the difference

I ran Edge Juice w/ Attitude and now run BDTD and they both seem to run kinda hot but for damn sure cooler than stock for some weird reason. As far as 1200* at WOT, I wish I could see that, I can easily hit 1600* at WOT.
