Need help on Rize kit install please!

Ok, finally rip the boxes open after 2 month sitting in the garage. Removed the swaybar, shocks, suspension (on one side) and the tie rod end but pitman arm is so stubborn and won't come out. already bought 2 types of puller from Kragen and both broke without even moving the pitman arm. Instruction says use a puller to extract it but no luck. Any idea what's the exact tools needed and tip/tricks? Thanks in advance!

make sure you use a quality three jaw and bring it up to tension then tap the pitman with a ball peen continue tensioning and tapping. You dont have to hit it with everything you got but hit it hard enough to help it break loose. Dont hit the threads

I'm in the Hayward area. Got the pitman arm puller from Napa earlier and got it off in 2 mins. Now the front drive shaft is another issue. Spent most of my time running to the store looking for special tools. i think i'll put everything back and will have the pros install it. thanks r_anderson.

Tan, i have the 8" Rize lift kit.

jjames, any tip on the front driveshaft removal? the front side uses a torgue screw but there's no way that the tool will line properly. Open wrench will work on the rear side but it would be a pain to remove all 4 bolts. Can i remove the back side 1st and when it's completely off, i can tilt it so the torque would fit?

Spray the front driveshaft bolts with PB penetrator and let set for 15 min or so then spray again. I took the end loose from the transfer case first then rotated it a little each time so I could get the socket torx bit to fit in there. Broke the ends off 2 of them before it was all over. Any problems PM me. Lets see some pics when you are done.
