5.9 Dpf?

Do any of the 5.9's have a DPF. The reason I sak is I have an 06 mega cab and behind the muffler is a round muffler thing? If it is a DPF can I remove it without issue? Thanks

You can remove it,but there is no restriction in it...it flows straight through. I left mine on when I had the muffler removed...

I think it's to help reduce drone, But yeah, it's straight through, no restriction in flow.

Only the mega cab has it. Only thing I can think of is the longer interior may recieve more noise.

Since the rear seat on a mega is closer to the exhaust, Dodge put the resonator on to stop cabin drone
