Wheels and Tires

Anybody Put the Stock Rims and Tires from a 2010+ 2500 4wd and put them on a 2004-07 2500 2wd?

I don't think I will have a problem but never hurts to ask.

My tire size - 265/70/17
New Tire Size - 270/70/17

Might be my excuse to level my truck...

Rims will fit with no issues. But the tire size isn't right, 270/70/17?

I know the rims will be fine but the tire size is what I'm questioning. Just don't want to rub when I'm turning or on dirt roads.

The tire size I mentioned was wrong, the guy got back to me. They are 265/75/17, anybody know what the diameter of these are compared to 265/70/17?

No problem. You can run 285/70/17 with the stock height without any issues.

Your looking at a difference in 1" tire height difference.

265/70/17= 7.3" sidewall and 31.6" diameter
265/75/17= 7.8" sidewall and 32.6" diameter.

Should be no problem at all
