Back Spacing?

Getting ready to go with some new rims and tires now that I completely rebuilt the front end on the POS. I want to go with a 33"x12.5" tire on either a 17"x9" or 18" x9" rim. What is the correct back space to avoid having contact with the control arm in a hard over turn? Thanks

considering that the offset of the stock wheels is +43.18 on a 17x8 rim, my 285"s don't rub, my guess is that anything in the 0 to +25 would be alright

Wouldn't that bring the tires inside the fender too much? I think it would make contact with the control arm? Right now I have a slight rub on the control arm with the stock rims at 5" of BS? I was thinking less back space to move the tires out?

IIRC stock 3rd gen back spacing is about 6.25". I have xd hoss rims 18x9 with 5.71 BS and they don't rub the control arms. That's with 35x12.5 nitto trail grapplers.

FWIW,
Just remember that anytime more positive offset is added to a wheel the forces (leverage) are increased on the front end components (ball joints/bearings).
If you didn't like the life of the ball joints (or lack there of) before you're gonna hate it now.
Hold your both arms straight out, have someone put a bowling ball on top of 'em at your elbows. How long can hold it there?
Now do the same thing holding the bowling ball in your hands.
Can't hold it as long can you?
Pretend your shoulders are the ball joints, same difference.
