How you got your cummins?

I will tell you my story I was visiting my family in phoenix and I was driving my 2005 f250 powerstroke. It was a good truck I loved it. I went to go shopping at Ikea in tempe my wife and I was in there for maybe an hour and when I came back out my truck was gone. So when i bought the ford I paid 20,000 for it had 46,000 mi and when it got stolen it had 76,000. I owed 15,000$ on it and the insurance gave me 29,000$ for the truck so after about 3 months looking for a truck I came across my first cummins and I love it more than the ford.

Graduated highschool, went straight to work on the pipeline, 1 year later I shopped around, found nothing but junk then just as I was about to give up on 6.7l and go for 5.9 I found my truck. Test drove her and bought her on the spot ( with a little haggling ). I'd probably lose it if I came out of a store and my truck was gone. Blood boils just thinking about it. Did the police ever recover it?

Hahaha you never know! And that would be the worst part, having to get it back after they bagged it. Glad they gave you the money for it and didn't just give the truck back. Probably friggen burrito wrappers and lettuce all over the cab when they found it LOL

The cab was full of trash and they took out the back seat prob to fit more drugs and they took everything that was reflective off. The one thing I dont understand is they took my all terrain tires off and put street tread on the front and bigger mud tires on the back and the truck was 4 wheel drive.

Thats interesting, I never would have thought about it. I guess it would make sense, because it would have two different tread types...

Maybe but I was just like why the smaller tires on the front?

Does anyone else have a story how they came across getting their cummins?

Different sizes spin at different speeds. On a 4wd, as we all know, on the street not good.
In the dirt tends to push and no tread pattern will be left that's useable. For all intents and purposes the front tires skid across the ground.

Traded my '94 1st gen 5.9 gasser, with 254k miles for my '03 dually 4x4 5.9 HO diesel. Had it up until last March 16 when I was t-boned by a doofus in a Ford F350 doing 60 mph. Then I picked up my '04 2500 HO a month later.
