Power seat trouble ?

Just got a '05 and on drivers seat the front up/down doesn't work. The motor makes noise like it is working but the seat will not go up or down. It is in the all the way up position. The other control buttons (middle and back) will move the seat like they should.

Can the motor be bad but still sound like it is working? What if anything else could cause it to not work?

If its anything like mine the motors work fine, but the connecting arms broke. You have to take the seat out to know for sure.

If it is the connecting arms; how hard of a fix is it? Can just the arms be bought or does a person still have to buy it all as one unit?
