Left rear brake caliper

Greetings Everyone, this is a great fourm
The left rear brake doesn't seem to release, I have replaced the brake pads and new rotor not long ago. The rotor was almost wore into two pieces, should I try to rebuild the old caliper or buy a rebuilt one.

both of my rears locked up when I first bought my 2006. depending on your model, may want to look into this and see if it was ever done if you fall within the year range since i don't see it in your sig.

I had dragging rear brakes on my truck also. What I found was the bushings in the calipers where the mounting bolts go were siezed. I freed them up and lubricated them. They are supposed to move as the caliper is applied and released. The rubber boot was not torn I think the grease dried up. No problems since.
