Does any one know the part # or where to find just the lamp sockets for cab lights for a 2007 dodge ram?
The dealer says the harness is over $200, if you by the kit its cheaper and comes with the harness, lights and templete for $120. only problem is the lights in the kit have the mounting screws from side to side, not front to back like I need.
has anyone ran into this issue before? I thought I seen a parts list that had all the part numbers to build a complet set however I cant seem to locate it.
Your looking for clearance lights correct? I was looking on ebay for some and found a factory mopar set from a local dealership (they sell parts on their ebay store) and they were selling the entire kit for $89 shipped. I found just the lights with no harness/template for around $20-30. ebay it.
Yep, I found the same kit. only way the kit comes though is with the old style lights with the side to side mounting screws. All I need is the lamp/bulb socket pig tail as i already purchased the correct lights that have the mounting screws from front to back.
I just checked for you. I work at a dealership. Mopar does not offer a connector repair kit for the cab lights. Looks like you will have to find a wrecked truck and cut the harness out of another one or buy a complete harne$$.

Have you tried auto zone etc? Sometimes they have a misc socket area. Those sockets are pretty common and generic among lots of cars. The older 2nd gens use the same connector for the license plate lights. Any lamp that uses a 168 or 194 bulb will have a similar socket. Best bet quick trip to the junk yard. If you wanted you can get that whole harness from Mopar. Part number 56051299ab 157.00 list and maybe cheaper if you find it online.

yes, ived checked the local parts houes along with my local Dodge dealer. no luck, the local parts house carry a universal tail light and thats about it.
Guess my only hope is to get lucky and find a truck at the salvage yard that still has the lamp sockets that I can cut off....
