My windows fog up horrible, it didn't bother me until my wife had to drive in the snow and couldn't see. Just had to keep wiping it away. The blower motor squeals a little but it still blows hard, and it gets hot. I used some rain x anti fog wipes and that didn't work drove 30 miles this mornin and they were still fogged up. Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks Craig

As stated...... check for a coolant leak- wet carpet and low coolant level & see if the compressor is running when def is on.
Also, just my opinion-- those rain-x wipes are crap. I used to use them and think they make it worse. My windows always got a haze to them when I used that stuff in a different car. Just clean with a very high quality window cleaner. There's some stuff that comes in a white aerosol can that's good. And/or get a clean towel from the house and just wipe them off without any cleaner. I'm convinced the film left behind by cheap window cleaner makes them fog up a lot quicker.

Dirty glass definately fogs up much easier. Make sure they are really, really clean and it makes a huge difference. I agree the rainex wipes have not worked for me either.
But that said, even with filthy, smokey windows you should be getting them cleared in 30 miles. And even with the AC not running. I second/third/fourth the suggestion to check for a leak in the heater core...sounds like you might be steaming your windows when you want to be blowing hot dry air on them.

depending on year and equipment level of the truck too i've seen a few odd things happen. Does the truck have clearance lights? I've seen clearance lights leak and get moisture in the truck. Once you get moisture in the carpet or under the carpet I've found that the windows fog up much easier and it becomes much more difficult to defog them. Third tail light leaks and rear window seals are two other frequent offenders for this same problem.

Now that you say it I can smell antifreeze, but I haven't found any wet carpet or other leaks. I bet I have a small leak and it is steamin the windows. Will look at that. Even cracking the window wouldn't help. Thanks for the help!!!! New heater core here I come.
