Is smarty better???...

Currently running Bully Dog with good ol Larry and was wanting to try another programmer. I plan on going to twins later so EGT's won't really be an issue. As of right now, I can hit 1,600 before it stops pulling with the defuel point set at 1,400 degrees. What are you guys seeing EGT wise with running smarty?

Just looking for some help here... I wanna do EFI live if/when it comes out for us early common rail guys but I know that could be a while.

I do love the power that I see with Larry so any comparisons anyone can attest to would be awesome as well Thanks in advance

Well I came to the dark side and installed the Smarty S-06...
WOW what a difference, The power comes in smoother but quicker and keeps on pulling. Smokes a lil bit more but I think it's just taking advantage of the Flux II's more so than the Larry did. EGT's DID drop a bit though. Given her all she had it tripped 1500 on a WOT run. The only thing I noticed is she only hit 35lbs of boost and quickly dropped to 32lbs and stayed there.

Will it be beneficial to run the QZ Boost Fooler I did with Larry? Before she'd hit 42lbs and it would clean up a bit. I DO have the WG turned off by the smarty but just lookin for help...

I'm running 2.4d on my 06, it traps faster speeds at the drags vs. smarty, so i'm gonna keep running it till i decide EFILive has had enough time to get some nice race tunes out.

Every truck reacts different. I guess it depends on what supporting mods the truck has
