Rockstar dually offset help please (need tires on in AM)
the rockstar front and rear are 17" x 6".... jut like our dualy wheels,
the rockstar front have a -99 offset rear have a + 94 offset
can someone please tell me if this will allow the front tire to be away from the brake more? allowing more clearance to the control arms over the stock wheel?
I cn not find the stock wheel offsets anywhere I look
I would measure the spare I usually have in the bed of my truck for you but since I had a blowout a couple of days ago and haven't picked up my other tire and rim from Discount Tire yet I won't be able to get measurements for you today....maybe mid to late next week before I get it back to measure it If you or someone does measure the stock one please post here because I am curious as well.

I got to admit,I didn't think about measuring the spare but I bet it is harder than you think to get a perfect measurement

Sorry to sound like a smart-alec here, but...
-Drop your Spare and measure it...instant answer.
well, yea, umm, ya know, that did not even cross my mind.....
but it wouldn't be to bad to dismount the tire and try to find the perfect center, assuming the spare is identical the other wheels, ya know I have not even looked at out side of just knowing there is on under the truck, but it did up a whole other point, a spare that you could actually run with 37's on the truck, maybe it;s time to build a rack for inside my bed and a seventh tire
I actually have an in bed mount for my 37" spare but that's because my train horns cover the whole area plus some where my spare used to be under the truck They sale quite a few custom looking in bed tire mounts. Makes the truck look quite a bit more custom IMO.
