dually wheel measurements

Well this is kinda off the beaten path for cummins forum but i thought some of you guys would probably know since several of u are driving dually's.

I have a 30 ft tandem axel dually gooseneck, i pull with my truck. It has pretty worn tires on it and im looking to buy a wheel and tire to mount a spare in case the need arises. I bought it without one.

My question is how will i know and what do i need to look at when buying a wheel to be sure it will fit.

I know i have 16 " wheels and 8 lug pattern with 235/ 85/ r 16 tires. But i want to be sure i get the right wheel to match up with my trailer and the tires i already have.

Ps . I dont pull this trailer much and am having a awful time finding used 235 85 r 16 is there any other tire you can use tht will work with 16 " wheels in a dually setting where i could maybe convert it a little at a time say change both left tires on front axle or would i have to change all 8 tires?? What about if i was buying new tires can i change them one set of dualls at a time? Instead of all 4 set of dualls at once??

If anything i would try to change a axle at a time, at the minimum a dual set. You are looking for trailer tire correct?

Tire Only 16 Inch Tires and Wheels | etrailer.com

For the price of trailer tires, i would purchase a decent load range E truck tire

I will try to do a axle at a time does it matter if i do the front or rear axle first?? my trailer has a short neck and mt truck is kinda big so it dosent sit level i would guess there is more pressure on the rear?? aside form replacing the tires which i hope to get to soon i will prob haul hay before i will be able to afford to replace 4 tires at almost 150 - 200 a tire so as for the spare should i buy a used tire as opposed to a new one to better match tread depth on the dually set up? what about the wheel dimensions i need to buy a wheel and tire to have a spare untill i can replace all these tires what measurements do i need to know to get a approprieate wheel for my trailer
