Weird Vibration through steering wheel/brake pedal

So today my truck developed a bad vibration through the steering wheel and brake pedal. It happens the worst at low speeds while turning/braking or while stopped and turning the wheel. but goes away once I accelerate. I checked the power steering fluid, and its fine. I have no idea never felt anything like this before, any ideas?

Sounds like a warped rotor or a bad caliper. After driving a good distance check to see if either of your rims are excessively hot. If so I would say its an issue with that caliper.

JoesEX, I'm having identical symptoms. Have you found the problem yet? When I get to work tomorrow, after about 15 miles at 65mph, I'll see if either of my wheels or hubs are hot in case a rotor or caliper is the culprit.

I'm thinking power steering pump. I feel the vibration through the pedals and steering wheel, in park and in gear, only at low rpms, and it's audible.

Any comments?

Carrier bearing, or u-joint ?

All my vibrations went away after the one-piece driveshaft was installed .

I just had this happen, replaced ball joints and ujoints in the front end. It went away. It was at low speeds, going over small bumps or slight turning. It felt like a shock was loose or something at first. Drove me crazy! Once I had help, I could see the ball joint movement on a dial indicator and feel it ever so slightly when I shook the wheel. I measured everything, track bar bushings, tire rod ends steering gear box.
Just offering up my experience might be that simple as ujoints and ball joints.

Problem solved!

A half-pint of power steering fluid and my symptoms went away. Now to find out where the missing fluid went...

Anybody need a serp belt tensioner?
