2004.5 Fuel Filter Housing Fitting

I some help folks. I am installing an Airdog 165 in my truck. I want to utilize the factory filter housing and a baldwin filter for water separation purposes. My truck came with an external pump that piggybacks the filter housing. I need a fitting I can plug my airdog hose into that goes in place of the factory pump in the fuel filter housing. Am i correct to assume this fitting exists? Dodge updated to in tank pumps- wouldn't they need this fitting to run the fuel into the filter?
