wobling sound in front end????

i just bought my 03 slt 2500 about two weeks ago and love it, but now since i have driven about 1000 miles i have noticed a wobling sound in the front end every time i hit a bump. it almost sounds as though the spare tire is loose, but its not. steering is tight nothing feels loose.... just wondering if its bad or normal cause i know these trucks had some issues with front ends. any help would be awesome.
thanks guys
Ben

just bought an 03 little over a month ago. Abs light came on and off for a while then finally stayed on. shortly thereafter I heard a slight tumbling noise come from driver front wheel, almost like a quarter occasionally tumbling around in the hub. it would come and go. lifted the front end of truck and wiggled both tires. driver front hub had a lot of slop in it. tie rod drag link had over 1/2 in slop in it. my steering felt fine too, no wobbles, no nothin. take the time to lift up truck and shake stuff. just got a $4,500 estimate to repair a lot of front end components, and have only owned truck one month. good luck

i will have to do that. what is good is that its still under the warranty that the dealership gave me, so if something is muffed up they should carry the cost, but we will see.
thanks dieselryder

Sounds like a worn out hub
Check ball joints, tighten track bar up

ive got an 03 3500. at around 95,000 had to change ball joints, drag link. at around 69,000 my hubs went bad so i swaped them at my cost along with u-joints. when i had the truck in for tranny work the manager told me that when a truck comes in for u-joints they 98% of the time eat the cost of the hubs to get them off. on the bumping noice i had that for some time and changed out the sway bar links and wouldnt you know it its gone. so take a looks at your links first before the really expencive stuff. i changed them in the napa parking lot
