anyone know a name for this

this part broke on my truck seat. Dodge sell the whole seat base for 900 bucks, I think something uses this or I should be able to find one like it. kinda of a spring driveshaft. Asking in different forums to see if I can get lucky and someone knows something about them. its about 6 in long in total. I am going to attempt to get this one welded or glued. I tried solder but I could not get it to build up like I needed.

Looks just like flex cable out of a weed eater swedged end and all see if it 1/4 inch. if it is you can buy it from hobby guys running boats or find an old dead weedeater and make you own.

Don't know what that part is called. But you can phone a wreaking yard in your area and ask if they have any seats for you truck's year.

The hoppy guys might be a good place to look. this one has about 1/8 square ends. I think it broke because it was to long, I cut some out of the middle and brazed it together. I have it working, not quite as smooth as new but it is doing the job. Not like we move the seat that much,
