Lets see your toolbox & tonneau solutions for short and long beds

I have a short bed want a toolbox and a cover but don't want to make bed so short I can't use it. I also have a gooseneck so the best I have come up with so far is to get a
slim line type over the rail toolbox (like 12" wide)

and

extang rt tonneau

Extang RT Tool Box Tonneau Cover, Extang RT Tool Box Truck Bed Cover

Wondering how others have dealt with setting up a similar comb to minimize bed loss. Also there are huge price differences in tool boxes, why is this?

Pics or opinions appreciated

I've been kicking around the same idea too. I tow a 5th wheel. I don't think the depth of the toolbox is an issue for me. The toolbox sits far enough ahead of the hitch. I'm more concerned with height and clearance while turning sharp. My trailer only rides about 1.5" higher than the toolbox. I think I can easily modify my elcheapo LeBra Tonneau to make it fit with a toolbox. I just need time to do it.
