So I went out today around noon and after running my truck on and off all day (I have to use it for work) all of a sudden my Heater blower wont turn on... The switch for the vent directions (middle, defrost, mix, etc..) works, you can hear the vent doors close and open but the blower will not turn on... It was working fine an hour before this... Any ideas or tips??? It was a lovely 30 degrees all day too...
Does the fan not work on all speeds or or will it work on high, or what? If it's not working at all, try backtracing power and ground. Ground problems aren't uncommon issues on the blower motor for these trucks, apparently.
I went out yesterday before work and traced the power back to the dash control. It crapped out on me so I went down to the local dodge stealership and order a new one for $165.. A little pricey but i got it the next day also. So just about as much as ordering one online and having it shipped with next day air.

I have a 2006 doing the same thing. Did this correct the problem?

I believe it will. My part didnt come in today so i have to wait till tomorrow to install it. I just took a test light and tested all of the connections starting at the blower & resistor and working backwards until i found a line with power (which in my case was the power coming into the dash control module) and replaced the part that was blocking the power. You do have to take your dash trim off to test everything though..
