has anyone seen/used these before? just wondering cause i know they are a lot cheaper than the non "blem" tires. i'm looking to buy the Extreme A/T again and noticed 4wheelparts.com had a special section for the blem tires. it says they have a cosmetic imperfection that doesn't affect performance. i wonder what that means lol

Ive use blem batteries before...its just cosmetic like you said. They couldnt legally sell something that wasnt safe and didnt pass all the saftey inspections

I agree...just cosmetic. If you don't care if it has a little mark or something it is totally worth the savings.

Those extreme at tires have been on backorder as of last month and they didn't have a good estimate last time I checked.

I have seen a few "blem" tires that had the white letters a bit off centered or missing a letter from a bad cast like someone said above.
On a somewhat similar note and without attempting to hijack the thread, Treadwright is a company that makes extremely high quality retread tires for a fraction of the price of the big name tires. I have used Treadwright tires on my last Jeep and fully intend to use Treadwright tires when the Nittos that came with my truck wear out. I know the word retread causes older/undereducated people to shutter in pain, but with the way technology is now there is really no reason for it like there used to be. No affiliation with the company, just can't speak highly enough about the quality of the tires and their customer service.
i've never seen the blems for pickups but have seen alot of blems for truck tires they all have a letter missing in like the load rating or something like that otherwise they r fine. and if your thinking about retreads u might check ur laws they r illegal where i'm from, atleast for use on passenger vehicles
