My 03 driver side rear door has no power to the speaker, the power door lock doesn't work either, but haven't checked for power. Is there a problem spot for the wiring or do I need to run a new wire?
I would think there would be a plug in the harness going into the door from the post to accomodate removing the door. It may be inside a rubber boot near the hinges. If for some reason it is unplugged, nothing in that door would work. My truck isn't here for me to look, but let me know if that isn't the case.

My '05 is the same way, cept the power window works. Go figure, haven't checked into it, because it doesn't bother me that much. Least this way if I accidentally lock the keys in the truck when I am working, I still have 1 door unlocked.
This is a common problem from what I've seen. I've had both my rear doors lose power. Pull the rubber boot on the wiring from the door jamb to the door. I'd bet there's broken wires inside. Might not be obvious like mine were, might have to test them, but mine were broke in 2.

Too funny, I'm using the same excuse. It's saved me a couple times!
Let us know how that works out dmrmh

I had the same problem on the same door. Check the wiring in the rubber boot running between the door and the body. I found (4) broken wires. I soldered the wires back together and protected them with a layer of heat shrink. We'll see how long the repair lasts.
It seems to be this should be covered by a recall from Dodge, but who knows if that is even possible under the new ownership. . .
You fellows hit it on the head,I had 5 broken wires in the rubber boot. For those that have to fix it,there is a clip on the cab side that you disconnect, door side didn't seem to come off.Door unlocks now and I have my 4th speaker back, even know its the crappy stock ones. They will be upgraded soon.
Thanks for the info!
