Fuel leak on top of tank after fill up

Since installing my Air Dog, fuel leaks out somewhere on the top of the tank when I fill it up. It flows over and down the frame side of the tank. I've taken tank back down and made sure everything was tight. I believe it's leaking from around the fuel module rubber seal. Does anybody have the part number for that rubber seal?

I doubt it, hell they don't even have a stock fuel filter for my truck at the Advance by my house.

i would double check all my connections though, especially fill spout, and yes the top of tank you know for sure is leaking the i would filler up and get home asap and drop tank enough to look or just take an inspection mirror, it will have a "stain" from where is leaking. hope that this helps..

:agr ee2:

oh yeah i forgot they do suck sometimes but still worth a try, or my favorite part store actually is Napa, they will have an o-ring assortment and you can take your old one with you sometimes if you get the right person and they don't "have" one for sale they will take one out of fuel pump box and sell you that one and send the pump back as a "defect", or well my Napa is cool like that, on more than one occasion they have got me out of a pickle....

I do not know if the '07 has an extra fitting on the module but the '03 does and a rubber cap will break and the tank will leak when it is full. I and others have had to make a fix for this problem.

Drove home to find drips in the driveway and fuel leaking down around the sides of the tank. When I turn on my fass pump, the leak starts after about 15 seconds. It doesn't appear to be the retun line. Also interested in the fix.

Am I crazy in thinking it's easier to tip up the bed instead of dropping the tank? When I put in my hitch, I had to lift the bed. Remove 6 (out of 8) of the bed bolts, then used my air jack to lift up the bed. this should be no different, except backwards. No draining and dropping the tank this way, and I can turn on the fass pump with everything connected, to confirm exactly where the leak is.

My fuel filler hose is butchered from an airdog, later a FASS, so I'll replace it and all my stress cracked pushlock lines while I have access.

My 03' has same problem. The leak is not coming from the seal around the module. It is coming from on top somewhere. I also have a Fass pump but problem started a year after install. I tried lifting the bed but broke a bolt and retreated from that option. Has anyone figured out a fix for this persistent problem?
