Interior part removal questions

Two quick questions about a 2006.........

How do you remove the forward dash cover? You know, the piece with the vents in it for the defrost and the perforations for the dash speakers. I need to access the dash speakers for replacement.

Next, how do I remove the plastic tray/ liner from the center console. The part with under the console lid with the dividers in it. I need to access the 12v wires for the power supply under there. I tried removing the four screws that hold the lid on and prying it up but no dice.

Start at one corner and pry up with a screwdriver. Once you get the first clip popped up then you just stick your fingers in the gap and pry up as you work your way to the other side. It's pretty easy...

I'm not sure exactly which console you have. You usually just start at the lowest point, pull screws, and pop that part out and move on to the next part.

A set of panel poppers will help alot to and not screw up the dash with any marks... they work wonders where screw driver wont... but as mentioned about strat in on corner and pop it up and slide to the other side till you can get your hand under it to pop it out all the way...

Yeah, I meant to also say "Be Careful". It is very easy to scratch the dash pieces up...
