Ok so not only do I use the truck to check fields and fences at our family farm but I have had people (my guess is meth heads) snooping around my house and my surrounding property and stealing including breaking into one of my rental houses well there is practically no light in that area and my feelings are there is nothing a 243 won't fix. With that being said I need some bright lights on my truck I want to be able to see everything so my idea is that I need some off road lights I was thinking two pencil beam lamps two driving lamps and two flood or fog lights I'm not sure on brand or what series to get I just want to light everything in front of me up extremely bright. So what do you guys think any suggestions on what I should get any help would be greatly appreciated

I'm currently running 2 KC 130w Titanium lights (driving) and 2 Hella 500ff (driving) all 6". if you want a lot of light look into HID (Kragen 7" HID Off Road Light - CSK Checker Auto Parts) these are what I was looking into getting Hope I could help
I have HIDS in my fogs, Headlights and 4 Rally 8 KC lights 375,000 candle power each.

I got some light force 240s on the front of my truck its more of a pencil beam and goes far as hell, then i got some 100 dollar 6in hids from shucks and they fill out for medium range flood lights. I drove through canada in the winter time with that set up and could see everything, we used those lightforces to spotlight a some buffalo across some valley, it was pretty amazing how far you could see with them.

Thumbsup on the Lightforce. I had two 170s as foglights and two 240s mounted on the bumper and those thing were B-R-I-G-H-T! The really nice thing about the lights is that you can get different lens covers to choose what kind of pattern you want. They come with a spot pattern lens but I had the combo lens which spreads the light a little better. You can pick from 3 different pattern lens and many colors too. Top of the line bullet proof stuff IMHO.
If you look at all their stuff they have hand held spots, gun mounted lights, etc. Very cool stuff!

Also you could make a plate to go behind the tow hooks in an L shape then weld a bar to it and mount the lights.

There are some real simple ones that are made only for lights. Check this out
I doubt you'd be able to make it much cheaper unless your time is worth less than $10/hour.

This would be an excellent set up, a lotta my buddies were running 4 lightforces in alaska, the lightforce lenses are pretty tough, mine took lots of rock hits and havent broke yet. youll be happy with them.
