2007 dodge 3500 low beam hid not working help!

2007 dodge ram 3500 with hi low hid. recently i had a problem with some electrical something with a bad ground. previously everything worked hi low hids and all. but my friend was installing gaugles along the pillar and he said only thing he disconnected was the knob that turns the headlights on and off bc he was going to wire the gauge lights to the same knob. anyways right after i lost dash lights, no signal no fuel gauge, and some other little stuff. but my low bean hid just stayed on. i didnt have hi beams or my fog lights. then a few days later i lost my low beam hid. its something with a bad ground or maybe computer problems, bc we were able to fix the other problems by disconnecting the battery or reseting it. but now i only get hi beams no low beam can anyone help thanks
