Manual to Power conversion. Pre-Wired?

I have done plenty of research and havn't found much. I have a ST 06 QCLB. Manual locks, mirriors, window's.

If i found a donor truck, are my doors prewired for power? Or do i have to wire it all?

What would i need from the donor truck?
Door panels
Switches
Window Motor/Regulators
What else?

Would everything plug right in or will i have to do some wiring?

Never took my dodge dodge apart to check, but both my F250 and GMC were not prewired. Generally not that hard to wire up, I cut out the plugs and part of the harness from the donor trucks and had to run a few wires. Not 100% on the dodges, but wasn't hard on either truck I did. You can also get the kits aftermarket and generally only need power and ground tapped.

Well i guess it's time to start searching for a donor truck then!

I want to stay away from aftermarket because i want to utilize the factory switches etc and door panels.

Getting aftermarket motors and regulators setup with factory switches is pretty easy if you have a diagram. Done a couple cars that way with no issues and you'd never know it wasn't oem without pulling a door panel. Electric Life makes great kits, can't get the site to work right now to see if they make them for the 3rd gen dodge though. Wiring is much simpler than adding to the oem harness, or pulling and reinstalling a whole interior harness.

They do have kits for both front and rear doors. They are around $250 pair and actuators for electric lock are cheap. $40 a pair for oem style. Then you'd just need door panels from a truck with power options.

My '06 qc has lock actuators in the doors already but no switches, I found this out since the back door lock was too stiff.
Id be curious to see if anyone else has seen this?

Sorry to hijack, but anyone know if an slt with power windows/locks but manual seats would have the harness for power seats tucked somewhere? I haven't pulled the carpet yet but planning on putting in my leather/suede power sport seats this weekend. Also anyone have the wiring diagram for the factory seat heaters? I need to either wire up an aftermarket switch or try to find a 2wd switch assembly since my donor truck is 4wd and they are on the same panel.

Just for reference on my 03 SLT with power windows/locks there is no wiring to plug in power seats. I'm in the process of making a harness now, just adjusted the power seats in the donor truck before pulling them to get it setup kinda right. Tons of fun...
