They aren't legal but they have saved me from hitting 4 deer this year. Also the fog lights do provide alot of light, I was extremely pleased with them, unlike my girlfriend who was pissed after me driving behind her lol

Reason: I installed oem fogs in May.
Heavy Duty 55 watt HID's with 6000k for the headlights and 4000k for the fogs. I know a wholesaler that sold a bunch 35 watt HID's to a company in Alaska and had alot of problems until he switched them out to the Heavy Duty 55 watt balast. If you want to shoot me a PM I can get you his # and he can steer you in the right direction. I use HID's on every vehicle I own including my motorcycles. Started usining them in 2003 and now I find it difficult to drive at night without them.
My vote goes to lightforce, you can swing it, I would get a pair of 9inchers and 7inchers. Those 4 with HIDs will be awesome on that drive. And driving this far north at that time of year is goin to be DARK.
I would not cheap out on lights!!

Get some HIDs in the fogs and Headlamps. Then if thats not enough a light bar with some offroad lights. I have all of those. lol. For my lights on my light bar I have 4 KC Rally 8 lights. Also my light bar is on the front not the top. With all my lights on I can see a good half a mile and then some.
