Grille Guard/Brush Guard Help

I have an 06 ram sport, and want to put a full grille guard on it. When I talk to the accessories place they tell me that on a sport there requires trimming of the bumper?? Whats all entitled to do this?? Anyone else have a sport and done this? Thanks.

I don't have a sport but I did buy a TopGun and I had no issues on the install. The only trimming that I had to do was on the valance but no big deal unless u take it off to trade it in or just try to sale it.

Thanks guys, The front valance is that the little black strip that goes under the bumper?? I do think that is the one the guy was talking about trimming. He said he could get a polar brush guard for me. I had one of those on my 97 ram gasser that fit with no problems. He told me a price of 350.00 which I didnt think was too bad. He said that they were being discontinued, thats why their so cheap.

$350, that not a bad price at all. I paid if I remember correctly $600 with installation.

I believe he is. However I think he didn't realize mine was full replacement either; or he did, and wanted yall to see it. Jason does that sometimes!
