48RE 2nd Gear Shift Issues

I have an 06 2500. I have a weird 2nd shift. The best way to describe it is that it feels like it shifts twice. I have replaced the govenor pressure solenoid, which did clear up the OTHER issues i had, but this one is still there. Any ideas?

stock transmission? any tuners or modded truck? fill out your signature so we know what you have. could be bands and a few other things depending on a couple of things. I had a DTT shift enhancer on a stock tranny and it did wonders.

I would hit them up about that... You paid for the expensive tranny, you get customer support with that, I would use it fo sho. But it could be a number for things... Does it do it every time it shifts to second? only at WOT. Give a little more info on what it does exactly and when it does it.

Ya I am talking to them too, they sent me the govenor solenoid, customer support isnt an issue with them, just looking for other fixes/opinions.

majority of the time, yes it does, not usually at light throttle. At a normal acceleration it does and at when you punch it.

Ya its better, ATS got me to turn up the line pressure by 1 turn, replaced the govenor pressure solenoid, (they are now going to replace all solenoids with a GM solenoid, which they are sending) and i got the DTT shift enhanser, which is pretty sweet, shifts great. The other possiblity is that the TV Actuator is pooched.
